Abstract: |
The study was done to understand promotion effects of Arbuscular mycorrhizas fungi on growth of rare
tree species Aquilaria sinensis,Dalbergia odorifera and Santalum album by comparing the advantages of selected
strains to provide a theoretical basis for rare species growing. Under a greenhouse pot, three rare tree species were
through root inoculation of AM fungi:Claroideoglomus etunicatu(CE) and Funneliformis mosseae(FM),and the
promotion effects of the two strains of CE and FM fungi were studied. The results showed that the seedling growth of
A. sinensis with inoculation of FM fungi were high, and the growth effect of D. odorifera seedling inoculated with CE
fungi was good. Nevertheless, there was no significant difference on the growth and biomass of S. album seedlings
by inoculation treatments. The morphological characteristics of root showed that the root length, root surface area
and root volume of three rare tree species were promoted to different degrees after inoculation. Principal component
analysis showed that three rare tree species could be each together as a class, which the growth factors and root factors
were various sensitive. |
