Abstract: |
In order to explore new ways of using agricultural waste matrix, the compound substrate of banana
pineapple waste leaf compost and coconut bran was prepared according to different proportions, and the effects of
different substrates with different physical and chemical properties and nutrient content on the growth of scindapsus
seedling were studied. The results showed that when the compost and coconut chaff ratio of the substrate was
(4-8) ∶(2-6),the volume weight was 0.33-0.47 g/cm3,total porosity,aeration porosity,and water-holding
porosity were higher 80%,17% and 60%,respectively,and pH and EC were 6.02-6.93 and 0.4-1.6 mS/cm,
respectively. The nutrient content increased with the proportion of compost addition. When the organic matter content
was 75.8%-78.8%,the available nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium were 7.3-7.6 g/kg,0.32-0.37 g/kg and 7.8-8.3
g/kg,respectively. Comparative test on the growth of scindapsus seedling showed that the best substrate proportion
was 7∶3( volume ratio) of compost and coconut bran, and the number of new leaf, root and root weight were 18.03,
14.86 and 2.01 g,respectively. Compared with control group, total root length, root surface area and root volume of
the treated group increased by 57.98 cm,22.59 cm2 and 0.67 cm3. These results indicated that the formula matrix
could be used as organic substrates of scindapsus seedling. |
