Abstract: |
In order to prove the effect of Cinnamomum kanehirae Hayata forest plantation on soil chemical
properties of introducing area, the changes of soil chemical properties of C. kanehirae Hayata forest plantation,
bombax–C. kanehirae Hayata forest plantation and after adding natural organic matter coconut bran in red soil for 2
years in the north Hainan province were studied. The results indicated that the topsoil pH value of 0-20 cm and 20-40
cm reduced by 0.3 units and the main nutrient content of topsoil increased in C. kanehirae Hayata forest plantation,
which compared with before the afforestation, and it improved soil fertility. Compared with C. kanehirae Hayata forest
plantation, the contents of soil available potassium, ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen improved by 45.10%,
15.84% and above 45.0%,respectively,but the contents of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus,
available phosphorus and potassiumdecreased in bombax—C. kanehirae Hayata forest plantation. The soil pH value
of bombax—C. kanehirae Hayata forest plantation was the same with before the afforestation. When mixed red soil and coconut bran were used to cultivate C. kanehirae Hayata forest, the soil pH value was 3.97-3.99,the soil rapid
potassium, nitrate and ammonium nitrogen were significantly higher than those in the control group( red soil),and
the quality scores of other major soil nutrients were lower than those in the control group. In summary, planting C.
kanehirae Hayata forests can improve soil fertility of introducing area, but it is less effective to mix with other forest or
add organic matter for improving the soil fertility of introducing area. |
