Abstract: |
This study was done to screen and identify the endophytes with antibacterial activity from Ficus
microcarpa L.f. in order to develop biocontrol agents. Endophytes were isolated by tissue block method and tissue
homogenate method. The bacteriostatic activity of endophytic bacteria was determined by cup dish method and colony
growth rate method. Identifing the endophytic bacteria through the strain characteristics and bacteria morphology
observation, physiological and biochemical characteristic test, determination of 16S rDNA gene sequences, and
construction of phylogenetic tree. The results showed that one of the endophytes named QYPT-B01 had antibacterial
activity. The fermentation filtrate of strain QYPT-B01 had strong bacteriostatic effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa,
Escherichia coli and Aspergillus niger. The composition of active substances in fermentation broth and its antagonistic
effect on plant pathogenic bacteria could be further studied in the future. |
