Abstract:
In order to understand the genetic diversity of Pennisetum Rich, the genetic diversity of 13 Pennisetum was analyzed based on SRAP markers, and the DNA fingerprints among them were constructed. The results showed that:(1)16 pair of primers were screened from 72 SRAP primers and 278 SRAP bands were obtained, including 218 polymorphic bands, with a polymorphism rate of 78.42%.(2)The average value of Shannon’s information index(I)and Nei’s gene diversity(H)were 0.5017, 0.3306, respectively, which indicated that there was comparatively great genetic diversity among 13 Pennisetum cultivars.(3)The cluster analysis conducted with UPGMA showed that 13 Pennisetum cultivars were divided into five groups when the genetic similarity coefficient was 0.86.(4)The genetic distance was 0.0206-0.974 between 13 Pennisetum indicating that large genetic differences existed among 13 Pennisetum cultivars.(5)The DNA fingerprints of 13 Pennisetum cultivars were established with 17 sites from one pair of primers, and 13 Pennisetum cultivars could be identified by SRAP fingerprints.
