Abstract:
The Chuanqiao1 and Xiqiao1 cultivars were used to investigate the effect of seed soaked by polysaccharide (0, 100, 200, 400, 800 mg/kg) obtained from endophytic fungus on the sprout and seedling quality of tartary buckwheat. The results showed that seed soaked by polysaccharide could improve the germination rate of Chuanqiao1 and Xiqiao1 cultivars. The treatment of 100 mg/kg was the highest, which was 16.0% and 17.4% significantly higher than CK, respectively. Seed soaked by polysaccharide significantly increased the plant height, the 1st internode length and leaf area per plant, and two cultivars showed the same trend. The root activity and SPAD value of the treatment of 100 mg/kg were the highest among all treatments, which were 31.6%~34.9% and 3.1~3.6% significantly higher than other treatments, respectively. Above all, the agricultural measure of seed soaked by polysaccharide (100 mg/kg) was beneficial to improve the germination rate and seedling quality of tartary buckwheat in this experiment.
