Abstract:
In order to find the suitable transplanting date, topdressing time and remained leaves, the effects of transplanting date, topdressing time and remained leaves on chemical and sensory quality of flue-cured tobacco were studied using orthogonal experimental design for the field experiment in Shuangjiang county of Lincang city. The results showed that transplanting date was the main influence factor to the comprehensive quality of chemical composition for upper leaves and sensory quality, and had significant effect on the comprehensive quality of chemical composition for upper leaves and sensory quality for middle leaves. The optimal level of transplanting date was A1 on May first. Remained leaves and topdressing time were main influence factor to the comprehensive quality of chemical composition for middle leaves and lower leaves respectively. The optimal levels of topdressing time were B2 and B3 (7 d after transplanting and 14 d after transplanting) and the suitable levels of remained leaves were C2 and C3 ( 18 to 21 per plant). Comprehensive comparisons suggested that the transplanting on May first, topdressing time at 7 d and 14 d after transplanting and remained leaves of 18-21 per plant were suitable for the Yunyan 87 variety in Shuangjiang tobacco-growing region.
