【Objective】The objective was to propose effective fertilization strategies for ginkgo orchards in
Pingtian Town, Nanxiong City. 【Method】An analysis was conducted based on the field investigation of soil fertility in
ginkgo orchard and the fertility demand characteristics in different phenological periods of Ginkgo biloba. 【Result】
ginkgo orchard soil belongs to acid purple soil, with an average soil integrated fertility index of 1.09, which was generally
below the normal level, showing an unbalanced supply of fertility. Among those fertility indexes, available phosphorus,
available potassium, available copper and available manganese in soil are at a high level of fertility, exchangeable calcium
and magnesium content in soil are at a rich level, while organic matter, hydrolyzed nitrogen and cation exchange capacity
are at a relatively lower level, and trace element boron shows a deficiency effect. 【Conclusion】It is suggested that the
fertilization measures of ginkgo orchard in Pingtian Town, Nanxiong City should be implemented as follows: applying "
farmyard manure + nitrogen fertilizer + trace element boron fertilizer " as pre-foliage fertilizer at the end of February;
applying "nitrogen fertilizer + trace element boron fertilizer" as catalytic seed fertilizer at the beginning of April, in which
trace element fertilizer can be sprayed by foliar fertilizer; applying base fertilizer(mainly based on farmyard manure) as
post-fruit fertilizer at the end of August. |
