Abstract:
In China, with the increasing scale of livestock and poultry breeding and the increasing total amount of livestock breeding, the pollution problem of livestock breeding has become increasingly prominent. The environmental pressure caused by the large amount of feces and sewage from large-scale livestock farms has become more serious, especially the problem of heavy metal pollution. Feeding environment pollution and feeding additives containing heavy metals in the production process are the main causes for the excess of heavy metals in livestock and poultry feces. Heavy metals are difficult to migrate and degrade and are easy to accumulate, which have a great impact on the soil ecological environment. Moreover, metal elements can enter the human body with the food chain and endanger human health. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the treatment of heavy metal pollution in livestock and poultry waste. In this paper, the current situation, hazards and available treatment proposals of heavy metal pollution in livestock and poultry waste were introduced, and effective measurements were put forward to better achieve the goal of combination of prevention and control, which provide reference for future treatment of heavy metals in waste.
