【Objective】The quantitative relationship between intensive degree of agricultural land utilization and pollination
service was studied, which provided valuable decision basis for intensive utilization of agricultural land.【Method】 Taking agricultural
land in various cities of Guangdong Province as the research object, four typical crops with different pollination dependence
were selected. Based on the statistical data of long time series (2000—2015), regression analysis was used to analyze the
relationship between the intensity level of agricultural land and its yield, to further explore the quantitative relationship
between the intensity level of agricultural land and pollination service.【Result】(1) As far as crop yield is concerned,
when the pollination dependence of crops is greater, the crop yield shows decreasing trend much obviously with the increase
of intensity level. However, when the pollination dependence of crops is smaller, the crop yield tends to increase with the
increase of intensity level. (2) As far as crop yield variability is concerned, the greater the pollination dependence of crops is,
the greater the coefficient of yield variability increases with the increase of intensity level, that is, the more unstable the yield
is.【Conclusion】The improvement of intensive utilization of agricultural land does not necessarily lead to the increase of crop yield and the stability of crop yield, but is obviously restricted by the pollination dependence of crops. |
