developing agricultural productive services has become increasingly prominent. Fully understanding the availability and
influencing factors of agricultural productive service subjects is an important thrust to accelerate the process of agricultural
modernization. 【Method】Based on the sample survey data of 173 banana farmers in 6 cities and counties of Hainan
Province, this paper empirically analyzed the availability and influencing factors of banana farmers’agricultural productive
services by using binary logistic regression model. 【Result】Studies have shown that the availability of banana farmers tothe overall agricultural productive services needs to be improved. Gender, whether the farmer is a village cadre and whether
to join a banana association or a cooperative have significant positive impacts on the availability of financial credit services.
Planting area, the proportion of banana income, whether to join the banana association or cooperative have significant positive
impacts on insurance services. Age, education level, planting area, whether the farmer is a village cadre have a significant
positive impact on information services. Gender, whether having participated and banana industry-related conferences, forums,
lectures, etc., whether often exchanges with other banana farmers have significant positive impacts on technical services. The
proportion of banana income, whether the farmer has participated in meetings, forums and lectures, etc. related to the banana
industry services have a significant positive impact on machinery services. The proportion of banana income and whether often
communicates with other banana farmers have significant positive impacts on harvesting services.【Conclusion】Therefore,
it is proposed to vigorously cultivate new agricultural service operators such as farmers' professional cooperatives, industry
associations, leading agricultural enterprises, and large professional households, and provide all-round and diversified services
such as machinery, information and technology in a market-oriented manner to effectively promote the connection of demand
and supply. The government should give full play to the role of supporting the main force of agriculture, and further strengthen
policy recommendations such as education for banana farmers and training for professional banana farmers . |
