Transcriptome Sequencing Reveals Gene Expression Differences in Breast Muscle Tissue of Muscovy Ducks with Different Growth Rates |

Abstract: |
【Objective】Transcriptome sequencing technology was used to analyze the gene expression differences in Muscovy ducks with different growth rates, and to explore the genes and signaling pathways that affect the growth performance of Muscovy ducks, providing a theoretical basis for elucidating the genetic mechanism of the differences in growth performance.【Method】The breast muscle tissues of two-tailed Muscovy ducks with different growth rates were selected for transcriptome sequencing, and the sequencing results were analyzed by using analysis methods without reference genomes to obtain differentially expressed genes(DEGs). Blast2 GO software was used to analyze the functional enrichment of DEGs, and the KEGG pathways enrichment of DEGs was analyzed with the KAAS website.【Result】Transcriptome sequencing analysis shows that there are 186 significant DEGs in the fast-growing Muscovy ducks and the slow-growing Muscovy ducks, of which 49 up-regulated and 137 down-regulated. These DEGs are mainly enriched in phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-serine/threonine kinase(PI3K-AKT)signaling pathway, mitogen-activated protein kinase
(MAPK)signaling pathway and adenylate-activated protein kinase(AMPK)signaling pathway.【Conclusion】The PI3KAKT, MAPK and AMPK are important regulatory signaling pathways that control the growth and development of Muscovy ducks. |
