Abstract:
      The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(hereinafter called “the Greater Bay Area” is an urban agglomeration composed of special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao, and cities of Guangdong Province, namely, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Zhongshan, Dongguan, Huizhou, Jiangmen and Zhaoqing. It is an important spatial carrier for China to build a world-class urban agglomeration and participate in global competition. According to the spirit of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and other relevant documents, in order to control the consumption safety of agricultural products from the source of standards, this paper intends to sort out and summarize the quality and safety standards of agricultural products in the Greater Bay Area. The main problems in the connection of agricultural product quality and safety standards in the Greater Bay Area are put forward from three aspects of institutional system, standard system and market positioning through the introduction of existing standard overview, analysis of types of agricultural products and comparison and evaluation of quality and safety standards. The special investigation on the quality and safety standards of agricultural products in the Greater Bay Area is carried out, the establishment of quality and safety standards of agricultural products in the Greater Bay Area is explored, and communication and cooperation mechanism for the quality and safety standards of agricultural products in the Greater Bay Area is strengthened in order to further promote the comprehensive advantages of the Greater Bay Area and improve the quality and safety standards of agricultural products.
